Funding

We are not governed by the council or a billionare funder - we are a small community of volunteers. Help us stay independent and local by giving today.

As a voluntary organisation, we are almost entirely funded through donations from people who value the work that we do in the community. If you are able to support us, we will turn a little cash into a lot of support. Below are some examples of how your donations may be used.

 

  • £3 will enable us to feed a family at a community lunch

  • £5 will buy materials for a 10 week art course for a participant

  • £8 will keep the building heated in winter for a day

  • £22 will provide training for a new kitchen volunteer

  • £50 will buy the materials to start a new community group

  • £100 will enable us to run a free community first aid course

  • £500 will run a support group for those most in need for 3 months
